Think about this, is the same cloth that cleans your desk and telephone being used to clean your toilet? Gross isn’t it! For this example this is why we have adopted the Oates system of colour coded cleaning. There are specific colours of cloths etc that clean specific areas so that each operator knows not to use a kitchen cloth in the toilet for example.
By colour coded cleaning you reduce the risk of nasties being spread out of one environment and contaminating another environment. So what is the value in this? Priceless we say! For the record the Oates system is:
Red – Restrooms and Bathrooms
Green – Kitchens
Blue – For general areas ie. desks
